Hotel Potenza - Naples

Great location by the station. Daily cleaning kept the place fresh and the courtyard views meant peaceful nights. Surprisingly charming atmosphere for a budget option, really well done!

A shelf in the bathroom would have been fab! And a mirror in the room? For a posh lady, it was nearly tragic!

I chose this hotel because it was close to the train station and close to the airport.

Excellent hotel, clean, free wifi, excellent staff

The stay was ideal for visiting Pompeii and the surrounding attractions. The proximity to the train station was perfect, only a quick walk away. Breakfast had some good fresh pastries, which were a nice treat in the morning. The spacious family room was a big plus for our group. The area felt a bit rough, which might not be inviting for extended stays.

Was very close to the Napoli Centrale Railway Station. Good eateries in close proximity. Quite good value although a little attention to detail ie more than 0.5 of a roll of toilet paper for a family of 4 would have been appreciated. Breakfast was basic but reasonable. Napoli was a shock to the system but very interesting regardless.

We were given a suite, it was neat and brand-new. The place had a quiet atmosphere. The location was comfortable and absolutely perfect for walking around Piazza Garibaldi.

All Pros, no Cons

Excellent location for transport connections surrounded by cafes restaurants. Rooms are cleaned daily creating a pleasant atmosphere.

The breakfast options are quite limited, lacking fresh variety.

Solo traveler recommendation

The location puts you just a quick walk to the metro and train station, essential for my travel. The breakfast pastries were fresh and good, really made my mornings brighter.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but still okay for what I got.

It was amazingly good value for money. The room was very pleasant, and much larger and better-appointed than expected. Also, despite its being in a somewhat dicey location (near the train station), it did not feel at all unsafe.

The breakfast was a pitiful continental affair without cereal or fruit, disappointing. Staff seemed utterly uninterested. Where's my special treatment as a distinguished guest? No upgrade, no complimentary surprises. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't overlook these glaring flaws.

The hotel is very difficult to find, the place is not accesible by car so you have to park a block away and carry your luggage. The neighborhood is not good, it is very close to the train station and we did not like the surroundings

Air conditioning struggled to keep up with the heat, leaving the room warmer than expected. The bathroom exhaust didn't work. Given the prime location, the overall facilities feel outdated and in need of a serious refresh.

Convenient for train and airport transfer. Reasonable neighborhood in Naples.
